#Sober Truth (2009-11-24) This book of anecdotes is juvenile and often crass. That being said it is also funny and despite the subject matter curiously innocent. Not a book to be read at a sitting as it can be repetitive but a great bathroom reader (ok! not a long sitting). Read for enjoyment not education. For those to whom the book does not ring true I say your life was just different, it mirrors my twenties.
#hilarious (2009-08-26) I don t think I ve laughed this hard in such a long time. Well written and very funny, I would definately suggest buying this book. We borrowed it from a friend and decided to just buy it because it was so funny.
#This book killed me... (2009-02-23) I picked this book up in Seattle, on my way to Nashville. I couldn t put the book down. I was laughing on the plane ride all the way. Before I knew it, I was there! This is a great book for anyone looking for something different, unusual, and so down to earth. A little inapproperiate at times, but if I can appreicate it, anyone should! Very fun, a little rude, but an excellent, easy read.
#Hide your Daughters, Max is here (2007-01-06) Reckless, silly, and borderline preposterous can only describe Max and his tales. His life is like the horrid curiosity we feel looking at the bodies after a bad accident. Shocking, revolting, but you can t turn away. I was never good as a binge-drinker, and having read the stories, the dude doesn t have much competition. But I m glad to have this book, as I ve have gotten to read about what I missed. Each episode s sorrid details plunge exponentially lower and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Despite the purging and insanity, he ...
#Loved this book (2006-12-31) I bought this book along with THE ALPHABET OF MANLINESS and loved them both. Great stuff here. Very new in its style and conception. If you re looking for off the beaten path types, this is the one to pick. Would also recommend the novel F**k This Book which is really well done.
